EMERALD green, peacock blue and ruby red - all colours of the rainbow were applied to models' eyes during the autumn/winter 2012-13 shows.At Roberto Cavalli, an arresting blend of purple, green and gold gave the classic smoky eye a new lease of life, whilst at Dries Van Noten a wash of matte tangerine shadow provided a modern take on autumnal make-up. And even fans of pared-back beauty can have their fix - models at Stella McCartney sported flawless complexions and neutral tones, aside from a flash of colour in the form of electric blue mascara.
