Modified supercars at SEMA 2013 in pictures

Modified supercars at SEMA 2013 in pictures

Our final entry had to feature some classic American muscle that could potentially outgun many of the vehicles on show at SEMA: the Shelby Coupe.
We’re pretty sure this one’s a replica, but it has the all-important side exhaust pipes that emit a wonderful V8 burble, plus the car’s profile is just so right. There was plenty more American muscle cars on show at SEMA, too, so keep an eye out for MSN Cars’ SEMA Hot Rod and American muscle gallery coming soon.

Amzing Maserati Bora

Anyone else remember the Maserati Bora? I thought so; but you might keep it in mind after this, ’cause the Maserati Bora may actually be brought back to life after the company owners take a glimpse of these wonderful renders, created by Alex Imnadze. I know I’d like to see it on the streets!

The name Alex Imnadze should sound familiar by now, since he’s the guy behind similar awesome renders, like the BMW M3i Concept, Alfa Romeo 6C. I got your attention now, don’t I? Well, check out this modern interpretation of the Maserati Bora –  am Italian built V8 mid-engined, rear-wheel drive, sports car produced between 1971 and 1978. Looking at the renders, I consider the Maserati Bora a strong competitor for the Ferrari 458 Italia, Audi R8 or other such famous names.

Photographs of Bald Eagle

There are some amazing facts about the bald eagle. It is a powerful flier and can sweep fish from the water at an amazing diving speed of 120 – 160 km/hr.  The average lifespan of a bald eagle is 20 years. It is a sacred bird in some North American cultures. The bald eagle’s diet is mostly of fish and small mammals. The bald eagle habitats are the areas around large bodies of open water with an abundance of fish. Typical wingspan of a bald eagle is between 1.8 and 2.3 m (5.9 and 7.5 ft).

As always, taking a photograph of wild animals in their habitat is difficult. And capturing a bald eagle in its rocky mountain habitat need a lot of patience and perseverance. But due to technological advances in photography, wildlife photographers have shot amazing and beautiful pictures of bald eagles. The detailed picture of a bald eagle dipping its beak to catch fish in the water and the ripples made at the moment is mind blowing. The tangled dance of the bald eagles in the sky is captured in another photograph. It is a delight to watch such photographs taken with good resolution.

The JBL Pulse Bluetooth Speaker

Bluetooth speakers are no longer a novelty, they’re a trend and you can spot them every where you look these days. But the fact is that there’s little to tell them apart with. To name a few – there’s the UE Boom, Jawbone Jambox, and many others. But JBL is tryint to separate itself from the pack by adopting a new approach with the JBL Pulse.

Sure, it may have the same shape and setup as the JBL Charge, but this baby ain’t meant for that; oh, no! Instead of charging up your 5v devices, the JBL Pulse is a portable BLuetooth speaker system that includes a panel of LED lights which bounces to the beat of your tunes. Now, that’s cool!

The Pulse ships with 5 pre-programmed light themes, but fear not: if that isn’t to your liking you can either program your own or download JBL’s own creations. You might enjoy them JBL Pulse colors for up to 10 hours of audio only – supposedly that’s how long the battery lasts – and 5 hours in total when both the LED panel and speakers are active.
The sounds comes from.. speakers, obviously, which feature 40mm drivers, so sound quality should be reasonably good. For those of you with NFC enabled phones – love that technology – good news: you’ll be able to simply touch your handset to the speaker and automatically pair the two via Bluetooth without the hassle of multiple button presses. Yes, please! Oh, and let’s not forget the price tag: The JBL Pulse ships 11/10/2013 for $200.
