Stunning Pictures of Columbia's 'Rainbow River'

For a few weeks each year, a small river flowing through Sierra de la Macarena in Columbia attracts tourists from across the globe as it dons a dazzling array of colours.
‘El rio mas bonito del Mundo’, the 'Rainbow River' and the 'Escape from Paradise', are just a few names Columbian locals give to Cano Cristales, a small stream located in the heart of the Macarena National Park. During the summer months, colourful plants blossom under the surface to transform the waters into the ‘river of five colours’ and photographer Olivier Grunewald has captured the vibrancy of the most beautiful river in the world.
