Unveiled a couple of months ago, the BMW 328 Hommage is a wicked concept which gives a retro futuristic look at BMW’s storied history. It combines design elements from the company’s upcoming concepts with elements from the past, such as the retro kidney grille, all wrapped in carbon fiber with a creamy cafe interior.
The 328 concept honors the 75th anniversary of the old BMW 328 roadster which was produced between 1937 and 1939. A 328 Touring Coupe still holds the record for the highest average speed on the famous circuit from Mille Miglia which is saying a lot, for a ’30s car.
Just like the old 328, the BMW 328 Hommage Concept is extremely light, thanks to its carbon fiber body, two part light alloy wheels which pay tribute to the car’s original rims, a minimalist dashboard, classy headlights and a three liter inline six engine which makes it pretty damn fast.
