BlackBerry A10

BlackBerry A10

BlackBerry A10 images leaked

The handset is BlackBerry’s next flagship smartphone. Reports yesterday said that the company is planning on focusing the device on gaming and power applications.
The images were obtained by BGR, the same site that leaked the specifications yesterday.
Its earlier report claimed that the device “closely resembles” the Samsung Galaxy S4 – a fact borne out by the leaked images.

The design is much less angular than BlackBerry’s most recent devices, the Z10 and Q10. The report suggests that while less angular, the A10 will feature a back similar to the Q10.
The device is said to feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM and a dual-core processor. The site said that the company decided against including a quad-core processor due to battery life concerns.
BGR’s report also claims that the A10 will have a resolution of 1,024x768 – a low resolution for a modern smartphone with a 5-inch screen.
The BlackBerry A10 is likely to launch as part of the company’s smartphone line up later this year – possibly in November.
