I thank the, Aston Martin, for finally unveiling the Vanquish Volante. You’ll find it was worth the wait!The Vanquish Volante comes, for the first time, with a carbon fiber body which enables the convertible to weigh 9 kg (19,8 lbs) more than its fixed roof counterpart. With the exception of the triple-skin lightweight fabric roof – which needs just 14 seconds to fold – the Vanquish Volante mirrors the exterior design of the coupe, also borrowing the interior cabin layout.
It takes the V12 6.0-liter engine from the coupe with 573 HP (421 kW) at 6,750 rpm and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) at 5,500 rpm, resulting in a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 183 mph (294 km/h). The engine is coupled to the regular Vanquish Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic gearbox, which sends power to the rear wheels.
The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is priced at 199,995 GBP in United Kingdom, while in Germany it costs 264,995 EUR. U.S. customers can order the car if they are willing to pay at least 297,995 USD. It’s also available in Dubai from 323,974 USD. You should expect delivery – if you can afford it – before the end of the year (UK and Continental Europe).
