DESIGNERS took a linear approach to pattern, stamping the collections with stripes, chevrons and op-art zig-zags. Elongated cuts and a largely monochrome palette complete the streamlined sensibilty.

If top-to-toe stripes seem a little daunting - introduce the trend by way of accessories. Bold monochrome bangles from Moschino or a candy striped raffia bag from Dolce & Gabbana should do the trick nicely.
