Holographic Polish

http://angelichugs.blogspot.co.uk/
Since stumbling upon an image of GOSH's holographic polish on a blog a few weeks ago, i decided a holographic shade was necessary to be added to my collection. Coincidently, Topshop recently brought out a holographic line into their much loved nails collection, and i had to try this as soon as possible!Topshop have three shades in this collection, a pink toned, blue toned and this one, a silver. I opted for this one to try out first as it's a more traditional holographic style. The polish was opaque after two layers and actually removed incredibly easy.
Top shop nails are very well loved by me, if they were the price of Barry M's i'd own them all! I was however a bit dissapointed with the 'holographic' effect this was meant to provide. In good bright sunlight it was noticeable, however any other kind of light it was simply silver with small glitter micro particles. The holographic effect was incredibly difficult to pick up on camera, especially as to the naked eye it wasn't all that great either! The polish is pretty, i'd wear it again and may even try one of the other tones. However my search for a good holographic member to my nail polish family is, most definitely, still on going.
